All new construction projects must comply with the Zoning Ordinance. If you're planning to construct a building or deck please call or email the the Zoning Administrator. She will explain the procedures you need to follow in order to get your project started.
Ordinance enforcement:
The township recently switched to a new system of enforcing the Zoning Ordinance. Instead of seeking an injunction from a court to correct a violation, we now issue a notice of Municipal Civil Infraction. The violator is given a ticket, then deals with the District Court - who assesses fines, court costs and order compliance.
The Zoning Administrator is the enforcement officer. Contact the Zoning Administrator to report or inquire about possible violations.
