We're Seeking New Members!

Joining the fire department is a great way to give back to your community and have a lot of fun too! We have a great group of members and are looking to add to our roster. Our services include:

- fighting structure fires
- fighting grass and wildland fires
- water and ice rescues
- vehicle extrications
- providing safety measures at accident scenes
- assisting with downed power lines and trees during storms
- responding to fire and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms
- assisting emergency medical services

Your training is free and can occur locally. Your service doesn't have to take-up much time, and it’s a great way to get to know other residents in our community. If you live in or near the township and have an interest in joining, please call (231) 599-2036, x112 or email us at firechief@torchlaketownship.org for more information. We'll arrange for a special tour of the station where you can check out our equipment and ask as many questions as you’d like.

TLT Now Offers Advanced Life Support (ALS) Services

Advanced life support (ALS) services are now available for Township residents through our EMS department.
