As we enter the summer months, it is usually quiet around the Township, however, the TWP Treasurer is busy collecting our summer taxes which relate to School and the County taxes.

I do not currently see a lot of activity for the upcoming July Board meeting. I will be posting the draft agenda on the website after 2 PM of July 10 and the full Board package on Saturday July 12 by 2 PM.

JUNE 2025 PRELIMINARY FINANCIAL RESULTS

June results reflect the Township running deficits until TWP tax collection begins in December.

REVENUE $167,573 Lower than prior year ($20,387) and above budget by $25,055 

EXPENSES ($919,096) Higher than prior year ($242,518) and higher vs budget by ($194,090) 

NET ($751,523) Loss is higher than the previous year ($262,905) and budget ($169,035) *

*The Unfavorable variance to budget of $169,035 was driven by the downpayment for the new fire truck pumper of $150,000. We received the bill for the downpayment related to our road work projects totaling $312,750 versus a budget of $232,652 . . . Total expenses were under budget for the General fund by $44,973 and revenues were higher than budget by $25K.

TOWNSHIP MEETINGS:

Please check the TLT Website for more information on the ZBA July meeting. The July Planning Commission meeting is cancelled. The Regular Board meeting will be held on July 15 at 7 PM and will be live streamed and recorded.
